Client: Eircom
This project commenced with a long running disagreement on ownership rights on an 8 acre plot at Kilmainham between Eircom and the Office of Public Works.

With the assistance of WKN this was resolved by an agreement to split the value of the site on a given basis. However it was felt that the site would be more valuable if planning permission was first secured.

A Masterplan was prepared and a planning application submitted for a mixed residential and commercial scheme of over 305,000 m.sq. (1.0m sq ft.) Planning permission was secured in 2005.

However, Eircom then decided that they wished to retain part of the site for their own HQ.

The balance of the land comprising just 2 hectares (5 acres) was sold by public tender in 2005.

WKN advised Eircom throughout.
