WKN’s Investment Team while concentration on Irish assets has extensive national and international experience in the investment and funding sector. WKN are involved in all aspects of property investment from sourcing, negotiating funding, managing execution and including the strategic day-to-day management of our clients’ portfolios. WKN’s Client list includes private, institutional and charity investors and owner occupiers.

Our track record in timing investment acquiring/disposal is unblemished. We advised our client to exit Irish investment properties from 2005 onwards – most took that advice and none of our clients from that era are currently in distress. Our approach to property acquisition is driven not by individual acquisitions but by working with our clients to come up with an overall portfolio strategy to achieve their long term investment objectives.

This philosophical approach commences with achieving a clear understanding of what the client is trying to achieve and then developing a 'model' investment portfolio to match the client’s objectives. This model seeks to spread risk and to achieve a balanced portfolio with a focus on either income or capital appreciation.

Bill Nowlan has significant experience in this area having worked as Property Investment Director Irish Life for 27 years with its Irish, UK, European and International Portfolio. Since founding WKN, Bill has arranged the purchase of individual and syndicated properties for many clients. He was responsible for the first syndication scheme in Dublin in the acquiring of Lansdowne house in 1996 for just under £10M and its later sale for £23M approximately 4 years later.
